Privacy policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This policy explains what information the games made by Emberkite Games ("we", "us") collect, why, and what choices you have. It applies to every game listed below, on every device where you play it.
In short: our games do not ask for your name, email address or any account. Your progress is saved only on your own phone. Our games show ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some device information to show and measure those ads.
Games covered by this policy
| Game | Platform | Package name |
|---|---|---|
| Escape from War Zone | Android (Google Play) | com.emberkitegames.escapewarzone |
Information we collect ourselves
We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts or photos. Our games do not have accounts or logins.
Your game progress and settings (for example, which chapters you have unlocked, whether sound is on, and the graphics quality) are saved only on your device. They are not sent to us.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you, and we delete it when you ask us to.
If you join our tester group (a Google Group) to try a game before it comes out, we can see the email address of the Google account you join with. We use it only to give you access to test versions on Google Play and to send you test news. Other testers cannot see it. You can leave the group at any time, and that removes you from our tests.
Advertising
Our games are free because they show ads. We show full-screen ads only at natural breaks, such as after you finish a chapter, and some ads are optional: you choose to watch them for a reward, such as continuing where you were caught. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. To show ads, measure how they perform and prevent fraud, Google may automatically collect and use:
- your device's IP address, which can be used to estimate your general location (such as your country or city, not your exact location);
- how you interact with the app and with ads, such as app launches, taps and ad views;
- diagnostic information, such as app performance and crash information;
- device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID.
Google handles this information under its own privacy policy. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and Google's full privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Your choices about ads
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time from the game's Settings, under Privacy options.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings, usually under Settings, then Privacy, then Ads (or Settings, then Google, then Ads). After deleting it, you still see ads, but they are not personalised using that ID.
In-app purchases
Some games may offer an optional purchase, for example to remove ads. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your card or bank details. Google only tells us that a purchase was made, so the game can unlock what you bought.
Permissions our games use
Our games use the internet permission, to load ads. They do not ask for access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or precise location.
Children
Our games are made for people aged 13 and older and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the advertising data that Google collects as described above, we do not share information about you with anyone.
How long information is kept
Game progress stays on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the game. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to help you, or until you ask us to delete them. Data collected by Google is kept according to Google's own policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, and to withdraw consent you have given. Because we do not store personal information on our own servers, the fastest way to delete your game data is to uninstall the game. For anything else, email us and we will help. For advertising data held by Google, you can also use the tools in your Google account.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is important, we will also mention it in the game's update notes on Google Play.
